Health Opportunities for Today and Tomorrow is a web-based service sponsored by the Michigan Health Council that enables students and adults to research over 80 careers in nursing, medicine and allied health and then allows those students to connect with colleges, universities and training programs for the career areas they are interested in. HOTT is intended to help build Michigan’s skilled healthcare workforce of tomorrow, today.
HOTT is Michigan’s premier website to help students and adults explore health care occupations, education and training options and other career resources.
Explore a variety of healthcare career occupations, including side-by-side comparisons that compare salary range, educational requirements and trend outlooks for each career. Each career path is linked with colleges, universities, and training programs so users can inquire directly with the training providers, link to their websites, and connect with the institutions that represent specific training programs.
HOTT also provides links to academic funding and other resources for career development and preparation. Users can explore career fairs, mentor and shadow opportunities, adult career changer information, health care camps, and a host of other resources posted to HOTT.
